Dr. Janette P. Loreto- Garin

Is the Department of Health now equip to solve the dingue out break?

Answer:

Yes, we are about to issue a declaration/pronounces with the week . The pronouncement should be in symbiotic with our own roles together with the LGU- our implementing agencies in the ground. So far based on our records the cases for NCR have been increased in number compares to last year but the number of casualties diminish , this could be attributed to the intervention that has been implemented with the concerns agencies like LGU, Dep Ed, and the local barangay health nutritional workers.Except for the month of the EL Nino like today's where heavy down pour occur in the stricken areas of the Cordillera , ARMM , Region ! and II.

How do PSA Statistics compliment with the DOH , program ?

Yes. the PSA has a big role in our DOH program. Though despite of the almost 88 percent almost surveyed and mapped necessary for the secondary data that health worker would be needing, the areas of like population of diabities (nationwide ) is not yet available . But we can have alternate sources like hospitals ,diagnostics clinics , hmos to tapped with for basic info.

How's the family planning methods program carried out by the DOH?

The DOH for now is complete with programs and tools to implement the Population Control Methods ( UN Based), however we have tied up with our hands , because of the currently issuance of TRO issued by the Department of Justice .
